What to do when gone labels and icons from the desktop Windows 7 or XP

As a rule, the disappearance of all the icons (shortcuts, icons, files and folders) from the desktop is not the fault of the virus. Most likely this accident occurred due to random instead of clicking the keyboard or a child of your own experiments.

Naturally, in this situation, do not panic. All fixable.

Consider the solutions to the problem for Windows 7 and Windows XP. For "seven" is also a video at the bottom.

For Windows 7:
  1. Right-click on the desktop and in a vacuum.
  2. In the context menu cursor to highlight "View" menu.
  3. In the sub-menu that will appear, you need to check whether or not a check mark next to "Show Desktop Icons"
  4. If the check mark is not there, put it by left-clicking the mouse.
Everything should go back to their seats. Naturally, if you want to do the opposite, that it is necessary to remove the proverbial tick. Because this is done literally in two clicks, then such accidents may well take place.

For Windows XP:

  1. Click on the desktop, right-click (on an empty space).
  2. Hover your mouse cursor to "sort desktop icons."
  3. Look there next to "Show Desktop Icons" checked.
  4. If there is no check mark, put it.

So, if you are a user of the operating system Windows XP, it is also free to restore the availability of the missing labels on the desktop computer.
