Opera 11 - How to Change Language Browser

When you might need the procedure for changing language in the interface Opera 11?

  • You have been actively "friends" with a foreign language and want to further study , using a program with this language
  • You have downloaded and installed Opera browser designed for another country and it has an interface, for example, in French
  • After auto-update your browser (this is a glitch that is changing language)
  • Just wanted to play
  • You do something messed up and needs fixing

In such a case is shown viewing video applications ( download ) and the breaching of action in it as shown.

How to change the language of the opera 11

In general, everything is simple and needs to be done a couple of operations. I will use English names and their corresponding Russian.

  • Click on the top menu click "Tools" ("Инструменты")
  • Select an option "Preferences" ("Общие настройки")
  • A window will appear "Preferences" ("Общие настройки"). You can call it without the menu by pressing the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + F12", while in the browser
  • Click the tab "General" ("Основные")
  • See the bottom of the form "Language" ("Язык")
  • If there is no "русский (Ru)", then simply select it or your preferred language from the drop-down list and click "OK"

The interface should switch

What to do if a bug

It may well be that, in the form of "Language" ("Язык") will be given the desired language, and the interface is still not the same thing. In this case, you need to dig deeper.

  • To the right of "Language" ("Язык") is a button "Details ..." ("Settings")
  • At the top is a form of "User interface language"  ("Языковой файл")
  • If, at a specified earlier in Russian, here is the address to the English language file, "C: \ Program Files \ Opera \ locale \ en \ en.lng", then we have to be a glitch.
  • To fix it press the button to the right of the form: "Choose ..." ("Обзор")
  • Window opens in which you will see a file "en.lng" in the folder "en"
  • To the right of the folder location, click the icon representing a folder with a green up arrow ("Go up a level").
  • You go into the folder "locale", which are looking for a folder "ru" and open it. There will see a file "ru.lng"
  • Click on it and click Open
  • You return to the box "Language", where the click "OK"
  • In the "General" ("Основные") , again click "OK"

Theoretically it should improve. Practically I have it worked.
