How do I transfer bookmarks in Firefox

When working on the computer, sometimes there are situations in which you can lose all your bookmarks in your browser. This most often happens when you reinstall the operating system.

With the planned reinstallation of the operating system, the user can advance to save bookmarks of your favorite browser Firefox. Then, after reinstalling the operating system and install the Mozilla Firefox browser on your computer, you will be able to restore your bookmarks.


But, the sudden failure of the operating system,
it will have to be reset, and if the advance does not take care to move the tabs, all your bookmarks will be lost. So you need to make regular copies browser profile, to avoid problems in the future.

In the new window, make sure that there are marked all the items that will be synchronized. Then click on the Finish button in the previous Sync Settings window, click Next.

Browser Settings tab appears complete. Your profile data is encrypted and uploaded in the background and you can click on the Close button.

You must then click on Firefox => Options => Settings => Sync. Next you need to click on the Manage Account and select My recovery key.

In My recovery key, you can print out the key and store it, preferably on a different drive, flash drive, etc. Be sure to save the recovery key to a safe place.

After that, you can then install the Mozilla Firefox browser on any computer, restore all your settings: bookmarks, passwords, browsing history, and so, using Firefox Sync.
